Impact Investing, Startups, and Jewish Values: Repairing our Planet through the Power of Business
Join us for a one-hour online discussion on Jewish values, social entrepreneurship, and impact investing. The discussion will include video presentations by four Israeli impact entrepreneurs tackling global social challenges.
This online discussion is an opportunity for young professionals to view real startup pitchs and evaluate the companies through three lenses: financial returns, social impact, and Jewish values.
Each seven minute presentation will be followed by a short discussion on the company’s business model, potential for social impact, and connection to Jewish values. Participants' feedback and suggestions will passed on to the entrepreneurs to support them in their mission.

6:00PM – 7:00PM EDT
As you watch the presentations, please consider the following questions and document your answers so that you can share them with the other participants during the group discussion:
- Business model: who are the company’s customers, how will they be reached, and why will they pay for the product?
- Social impact: who will benefit from the company's success? Can the impact be measured?
- Jewish values: what Jewish values or traditions does the company’s work promote?
This event was made possible through the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation's #MakeItHappen initiative.
